Meet Some of The Animals
Bodafon Farm Park have a variety of animals that you will meet when you come to visit us.

Enjoy a Tractor /Trailer Ride around the Paddocks and see the variety of rare breed animals. Alternatively, walk the trail (0.4 miles) and stop for a rest at the Duck Pond. There are PADDOCKS where you can see deer and highland cattle, huge shire horses and unusual animals such as llamas and alpacas here are a few of the many animals that you will see on a day out to Bodafon Farm Park.
Goats cattle rabbits llama’s peacocks deer pigs ducks just a few of the animal waiting to see you down on the farm.

Horses
Millie the miniature mule
Millie is quite shy, but does like to be fed by all the visitors and will come to you if your nice and quiet, her best friends are the donkeys.
Barney (pony) all the visitors have fell in love with him ,Barney loves to give children pony rides and meet new visitors (he really enjoys this) Barney and Albert (his friend) go out at night to graze so they will be ready in the Mornings to give pony rides. See touch and fall in love with our magnificient shire horses, the gentle giants of the park.
Trefan (light bay brown shire horse) nickname gypo trev is 6 years old he is around 16.2 hh (hands high) he used to pull the harrow, visitor love to watch him because he tends to hide behind Tom and Jerry in the field he is a big baby.
Tom (thomas the tank) dark bay/brown shire horse he is 16 years old and 17.0 HH he loves to welcome visitors to the farm by standing at the gate.
Rosie nick name Bodafon wind farm and dozy Rosie, 10 years old in March 17.2HH she always comes in from the field d irty and scruff she just cannot keep clean she loves having cuddles from young and old alike Jim (dark bay shire horse ) nickname Jimmy willy he is approx 18.2HH he is also the eldest of the shires at 20 years old all the visitors love to pat him he is normally found at the gate waiting to greet people as they arrive he is the tallest horse on the farm Visitors always laugh when we say we have a Rosie and Jim after the television series what visitors don’t know is when Jim eats his breakfast he rocks back and forth he looks like he is going to fall to any unsuspecting visitor.
Duchess (dark bay shire horse) nickname duchie babe and HRH born on the 18th June (she likes birthday cards) her height is 18.2HH . She won the shire horse championship in 2003 she looks the part and is happiest dressed in her harnesses her party piece is to move the wood at the entrance to her stable with her nose and go for a walk when no one is looking.

Prancer the Red Deer
Prancer lives in his purpose built pen with its own little forest. he likes to eat out of your hand, but it always very grumpy, he also likes to look after his ladies


Annie the Pygmy Goat

Annie and her friends love all the attention they get from the visitors and will try to follow you everywhere

Cattle
British white, longhorn, dexters, part white Gloucester highland many people have never seen any of this type of cattle, they usually make people jump with fright when you walk past them with the noises they make.

Larry the Llama
Larry has been at the farm park for around a year, he has his own large enclosure where he likes to run around, he is quite shy but is very nosey and likes to know what everyone is doing

Goose and the ganders two of our very friendly goats.
Get up close to all the llamas and they may give you a kiss They love to run and walk along the side of the fence when people are walking along the track
We have many rabbits that you can meet and cuddle They are so friendly and love to see visitors all the time many people like to name the rabbits feel free to do so

Truffles
Our resident pot-bellied pig. she's always burrowing looking for food, she's very intelligent and also sleeps a lot, she very nosey and doesn't like to miss out on anything

Peter and Paula
The peacocks have their own house and run, at the small animal shed, peter is always showing off to Paula and will try and impress her by spreading his tail feathers.
